Peer Review Process

1. Invitation to Review

  • You will receive an email invitation with manuscript details
  • Please respond within 48 hours to accept or decline
  • If declining, please suggest alternative reviewers if possible

2. Accessing the Manuscript

  • Log in to the submission portal using your reviewer credentials
  • Navigate to "My Reviews" to access assigned manuscripts
  • Download the manuscript and supplementary materials

3. Conducting the Review

  • Evaluate the manuscript based on our criteria (see below)
  • Provide constructive, detailed feedback
  • Complete the review form in the submission portal
  • Upload any annotated files if applicable

Review Recommendations

Accept: Manuscript is scientifically sound and ready for publication
Minor Revision: Good manuscript requiring small changes
Major Revision: Significant issues that can be addressed
Reject: Fundamental flaws that cannot be adequately addressed

Ethical Guidelines for Reviewers

Confidentiality

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of reviewed manuscripts
  • Do not share manuscript content with others
  • Do not use unpublished data for your own research
  • Delete files securely after review completion

Conflict of Interest

  • Declare any potential conflicts of interest
  • Decline review if you cannot be objective
  • Avoid reviewing work from close collaborators or competitors
