Login Issues

I forgot my username. How can I retrieve it?

If you've forgotten your username, you can retrieve it by clicking the "Send Login Details" link on the login page. Enter your registered email address and we'll send you your username.

I forgot my password. How can I reset it?

To reset your password:

  1. Click the "Send Login Details" link on the login page
  2. Enter your registered email address
  3. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password
  4. Follow the link and enter your new password
I keep getting an "Invalid Username or Password" error

This error occurs when the username and password combination doesn't match our records. Here are some common solutions:

  • Ensure your CAPS LOCK key is not on
  • Check if your username and password are entered correctly
  • Try resetting your password via the "Send Login Details" link
  • Make sure you're selecting the correct account type (Author, Reviewer, Editor, or Publisher)

Account Recovery

I'm not receiving the password reset email

If you haven't received your password reset email:

  • Check your spam or junk folder
  • Ensure you entered the correct email address
  • Add noreply@journalofadvancedmedicine.com to your safe senders list
  • Wait for 10-15 minutes as email delivery may be delayed
  • If you still don't receive the email, contact our support team
My account appears to be locked

Accounts may be temporarily locked after multiple failed login attempts. To unlock your account:

  • Wait for 30 minutes and try again
  • Request a password reset via the "Send Login Details" link
  • If you still cannot access your account, contact our support team

Registration Help

How do I create a new account?

To create a new account with the Journal of Advanced Medicine:

  1. Click on the "Register Now" link on the login page
  2. Fill out the registration form with your personal and professional information
  3. Verify your email address by clicking the link in the verification email
  4. Once verified, you can log in with your credentials
I received an email with login credentials but never registered

If you received login credentials without registering, you may have been added to our system by an editor or co-author. This often happens when:

  • You've been invited to review a manuscript
  • You've been added as a co-author on a submission
  • You've previously published with us or a related journal

You can use the credentials provided in the email to log in, and then update your profile information as needed.

Technical Issues

The website is loading slowly or not at all

If you're experiencing technical issues with the website:

  • Try refreshing your browser
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies
  • Try using a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
  • Check your internet connection
  • Disable any browser extensions that might interfere with the site
The login page looks distorted or is missing elements

If the login page appears distorted:

  • Try zooming out (Ctrl + "-" or Cmd + "-")
  • Update your browser to the latest version
  • Try using a different browser
  • Disable any ad-blockers or content blockers that might affect the page
