Initial Assessment

Upon submission, manuscripts undergo initial assessment by an editor to ensure they meet basic requirements and fall within the journal's scope. Submissions may be rejected at this stage if they do not meet these criteria.

Peer Reviewer Selection

Manuscripts that pass initial screening are assigned to a handling editor, who selects 2-3 independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Authors may suggest potential reviewers, but the final selection is at the editor's discretion.

Review Assessment

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts for scientific validity, originality, clarity, and significance. They provide detailed comments and recommend whether the manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected.

  • Major Revision: Substantial changes are needed, after which the manuscript will undergo re-review
  • Reject: The manuscript is not suitable for publication in the journal

Author Response

Authors of manuscripts requiring revision receive reviewer comments and are given time to revise their manuscript. A point-by-point response to reviewer comments should accompany the revised submission.
